How can I access my email account?

There are two ways to access your email.
- Through our Webmail (mail.arditi.pt)
- Through an Email Client
We suggest you use one the following Email Client: Mail (on Mac), Thunderbird (on Windows/Linux).
Please make sure that you enter your full email address for the username field.
For example, first.last@arditi.pt or first.last@iti.larsys.pt or first.last@oom.arditi.pt
Email client configuration:
Incoming ========================== Name of the server: mail.arditi.pt Port: 143 Protocol: IMAPS (IMAP with STARTTLS) Outgoing ========================== Name of the server: mail.arditi.pt Port: 587 Protocol: SMTPS (SMTP with STARTTLS)
Note: In Thunderbird email client, Settings > Security and Authentication > the Authentication Method should be Normal Password.
Mail (Mac):
- Open "Mail"
- Choose to add an account and select "Other Mail Account..."
- Fill your email address and password and click "Sign In"
- On the "Account Type" select "IMAP", on "Incoming Mail Server" and "Outgoing Mail Server" write "mail.arditi.pt", then click "Sign in"
- Select which apps you want to use the account for and click done
- Mail is ready to use
Thunderbird (Windows/Linux):
- Download thunderbird at https://www.thunderbird.net/en-US/
- Install thunderbird and open it
- Fill your credentials
- On the server configurations, put the configuration shown in "Email client configuration" section and on the authentication method pick "normal password
- Click connect and let your emails sync
- Thunderbird is ready to use
